LiDAR data acquisition by Microdrones mdLiDAR1000 started by creating flight mission using mdCockpit software. The plan was to collect data within an area of ± 10 ha by flying with the speed of 3 m / s and 60 meters flight altitude. Side lap between flight routes (lateral overlap) was set to 60%, with 60 ° field of view. Total flight duration was 20 minutes, consuming 1x battery of 16000 mAh. With such flight setting / configuration, 19,500 points per second pulse rate with an average point density of 90 pts / m2 can be collected in one flight.
